Who We Are & What We Do

Renaissance Village is a youth-based community center which believes in preparing our teens for the world through active participation in that world. We believe in a structured environment that allows children to grow as leaders and change-makers. We believe in trauma-informed practices, which put our children and their needs at the forefront of everything we do. It takes a village to raise a child and we, at Renaissance Village, are unwavering in our mission to build the community through the next generation. Meet the Founders

Coming together years ago with a shared vision, Dawn and Tariq immediately knew a partnership was destined to grow. After officially joining forces, the two quickly put together a plan and opened the first physical incarnation of Renaissance Village Youth Center, followed by their financial education academy, Digital Kommerce. With their latest venture, Colors Organic Vegan Foods ,currently operating as a fresh juice delivery service,  New Jersey can expect the all-vegan, nut-free restaurant, with a focus on entrepreneurial training, to pop up in the near future.
